Listabiz is an online gateway for buyers, and sellers and their agents/brokers/representatives, allowing them to collaborate and gather information on: start-up and existing businesses, franchise opportunities, available retail leasing, financing strategies, advertising/marketing, and general business consulting.Prospect Blue helped Listabiz prioritize the structure of the web site, and reorganized the information architecture (user flow) to increase usability and user experience. Prospect Blue also created complex databases and backend systems that manage every aspect of customer transactions through the web site, built an integrated system that unites the front end together with custom registration, login, and account management systems for all users.
The website was built using CodeIgnitor a leading PHP framework and made extensive use of jQuery, a Javascript framework. Prospect Blue also used AJAX throughout the site to enhance the users experience. The Listabiz website features a registration, login and account management interfact, a custom ad management system, a complex search interface for users and administrators, and a full backend system with website management (and update) tools, database reports, and customized features and functionality to meet the specific needs of their growing organization.
